Overview:

This Occupational Health Update provides you with an update on crucial developments in OH law and professional practice. We will take delegates through some of the most complex and important developments in OH law and practice, providing no-nonsense explanations of how they will affect OH professionals, employers and employees.

Many organisations are aware of occupational health, but not the legal requirements and the potential benefits to long-term sickness management of occupational health issues, and significant costs of failing to manage occupational health risks. Health issues cost organisations far more than occupational accidents in the workplace, yet the effort to prevent occupational health risks is often far lower than that provided to prevent occupational accidents. This course will help forward thinking organisations to understand the long term benefits of managing occupational health issues.

The day is intended to save occupational health, health & safety and HR professionals from trawling through the huge amounts of reference literature and regulatory information each year, which needs to be consumed and understood by anyone with responsibilities in the workplace. The seminar provides in one day all the critical and relevant information necessary to understand the implications of key changes over the year.

Who Should Attend?

All those with responsibility for ensuring occupational health compliance within their business and those who are seeking to improve their understanding of current and recently emerging relevant law and best practice. Any Manager with responsibility for Occupational Health, HR or Health & Safety will find this an invaluable one-day update.
