In-depth Course
The course is a must for individuals and organisations that are concerned about environmental legal compliance. After attending you will recognise the duties and liabilities related to compliance and the actions that you need to take. This one-day programme addresses the key elements of recent and emerging legislation so that you can stay ahead in protecting your organisation. If you are looking to cut down on environmental concerns and ensure your company is compliant this is the course for you!
The Programme for the 2012 update series is yet to be confirmed, as it is designed to be as up-to-date as possible. The last programme for the 2011 series is detailed below in order to provide an indication of the types of subjects covered and the format for the day.
Last year, this one-day programme addressed the current and key emerging environmental law and policy issues that every organisation needs to tackle. It covered where we were with the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) and reviewed the new waste law requirements that were planned for April 2011. General waste and air related law and policy was covered, as was developing requirements for those concerned about discharges to the water and land environments.

Information
Ken Jordon
Ken is a science graduate; a Chartered Environmentalist and Chartered member of IOSH. He has a management background from the chemical and allied industries. He specialises in the design and implementation of environmental and safety management systems and in the provision of management focused training. After working for a number of years as a principal EHS consultant in the engineering sector, he founded Focus RM Limited a training and consultancy organisation in 2001. Focus RM provides a range of accredited programmes to public and private sector clients.
