In-depth Course
How do you know that you’re up to date with the key approaches needed to ensure legal compliance with waste related law, recognising that significant legal changes have occurred to the waste Duty of Care requirements in 2011. Ensuring compliance with waste related legislation is complex and getting it wrong could land your organisation and those responsible for any breach, in court.
Failure to manage waste issues in business result in a significant number of prosecutions each year in England and Wales. By attending this seminar, delegates can make an immediate impact on waste compliance practices within their organisation leading to confidence that company legal obligations with respect to waste are sufficiently addressed.
Key requirements for the revised Duty of Care under the new Waste (England and Wales) regulations 2011 (including the new requirements to consider the Waste Hierarchy) and the associated regulations such as those dealing with Hazardous Waste, will be covered as will current best practice. The programme provides an update on the changes that have occurred in the past year, including the expected requirements that will be introduced in October 2011 under the Controlled Waste Regulations 2011.
This seminar is designed to enable the delegate to ensure that they are compliant with today’s legislation and are prepared for the coming year regarding waste management implications and practice.
