Overview
Recent outbreaks of Legionnaires disease are a reminder of the dangers of Legionella and reinforce the need to check the quality of safety control systems. This one day course course is designed to act as a refresher / update for all professionals who are responsible for the control of Legionella. The course includes details on internal controls, infection prevention and management regimes using recent case studies.

The course is designed to provides delegates with current legal and technical requirements for the control of legionella bacteria in water systems within buildings and the skills necessary to manage and maintain water systems effectively in compliance with HSE Approved Code of Practice L8.

The course is designed to act as a refresher / update for all professionals who are responsible for the control of Legionella. The course includes details on internal controls, infection prevention and management regimes using recent case studies.

This interactive course is intended to provide managers & supervisors with sufficient enhanced knowledge of the principles of Legionella bacteria and growth by carrying out audits of current management regimes and be more aware of how they might manage them.
