Overview:
The 15th EBIS annual update on environmental law, policy and practice is a must for professionals that are concerned about environmental legal compliance and covers all of the key changes over the last 12 months.

The one-day programme addresses the key elements of recent and emerging legislation so that you can get up to speed and stay ahead in managing your organisation’s needs. The seminar provides invaluable updates to ensure delegates are aware of the changes in environmental law and policy and understand how these will impact their organisation.

The seminar is essential for those who are directly involved in delivering an organisation’s environmental responsibilities, or those who simply have an interest in environmental law and policy.

On completion of the course, attendees will:

Brexit – a quick reminder and the Environment Act
Within this session, delegates will be reminded of the changes made to our regulatory landscape since Brexit, before we turn our attention to the Environment Act.
The Environment Act became law in 2021, and acts as the UK’s new framework of environmental protection. When the UK left the EU, rules on environmental protection that originally came from Brussels were at risk. The Environment Act is intended to plug that gap.
During the session, we’ll discuss what the Environment Act covers, and get the latest information on its implementation and progress.
